Meet Stephen & Sandy

From Last Pick to Elite Football Player

Stephen Avery is best known for his genuine love for people and his passion to encourage them whether it’s behind his drum kit, behind a pulpit or on the football field. After his successful run with teams like the Green Bay Packers & the Pittsburgh Steelers, God led him in a new direction. Thankfully, the Lord’s redemptive power took him from being the last kid picked in gym class to the elite professional football player he became.

Throughout his life, his motto has always been, and continues to be, “Be dumb enough to believe and smart enough to execute.” His life is a wonderful journey of faith!
